Yale University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant/Associate or tenured Associate/full Professor in the History of Medicine beginning July 1, 2012. Applicants with interests in the history of the biomedical sciences, experimental life sciences, or clinical practice since 1800 are particularly encouraged to apply. Duties will include teaching in the Program in the History of Science and Medicine, the Department of History, and the Section for the History of Medicine in the School of Medicine. The successful candidate must interact effectively with students in the School of Medicine as well as undergraduate and graduate students in the History of Science and Medicine. The search committee will begin considering applications on October 15, 2011.
