Dr. Gordon McOuat

Dr. McOuat teaches in the History of Science and Technology Programme and the Contemporary Studies Programme at the University of King's College/Dalhousie University. He is also the Past-President of the Canadian Society for the History and Philosophy of Science/Société canadienne d'histoire et philosophie des science. He has been a Senior Research Fellow at the Dibner Institute for the History of Science and Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2001-2002), Associate Fellow at Harvard University, Research Fellow at Cambridge University (1994-1995) and visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute, Berlin (1998).

He is the co-founder of the "Evolution Studies Group," an interdisciplinary group of scholars exploring modern evolutionary theory.
