Charis Thompson (Berkeley) is a major figure in feminist science studies and anthropology of science. Her 2005 book Making Parents: The Ontological Choreography of Reproductive Technologies, is foundational to the field. This lecture will be of immense interests to faculty and graduate students across the campus, and especially in Anthropology, STS, Women’s Studies, SPT, Health, and Environmental Studies.
